Premier Inn High Wycombe Central

Breakfast had a wide choice of hot and cold options, was well organised, and was good value for money. I had a very pleasant stay at the Premier Inn High Wycombe Centre. It was comfortable and convenient, with great value overall. I’d definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable place in the town centre.

My two daughters booked a family room for three, two adults and one child, and arrived around 5pm even though check-in starts at 3pm. They were heading straight out, but when they got back at about 10:45pm, the room still wasn't ready. They complained to the duty reception person, who was absolutely disgusting towards them. My eldest daughter is disabled and has special needs, and had fallen at the entrance to this “hotel.” The response to that was uncaring, then they found the room unprepared and a very rude person who wouldn't listen when they asked why it hadn't been ready. They asked to speak to someone in charge and were told to wait until morning. I was on the phone trying to sort it out and heard how the staff spoke over my daughter. Absolutely disgusting attitude, unprofessional and unwilling to listen to customers. Rubbish hotel, dirty rooms, even dirtier bathrooms, and rats in the car park. Book if you dare!

We had gone to the hospital with my dad and only found out at the last minute that we'd be staying overnight, so we booked this Premier Inn. Sara the Manager welcomed us and looked after my mum and me. She, George and Angeli, sorry if I've got the name spelling wrong, made a stressful day less stressful. Great team. The room itself was fine, but the noise completely overshadowed the stay. In room 219 I had a rough night's sleep because the floorboards above were extremely squeaky, and whoever was up there seemed to walk around every 40 minutes. The sound came straight through the ceiling and woke me each time, making it almost impossible to rest properly. The hotel should look at the flooring or soundproofing, because it’s hard to get a peaceful night as things are.
