The rain was pouring, but the area was lovely and clean, and we had a lovely view from our room. This was a last minute booking after the weather changed during our camping road trip, and we really enjoyed it. Our furbaby was welcomed along with us by a wonderful host and two adorable furry companions, one very excitable. The clear information about breakfast options was helpful, and Claire cooked it with care. Chatting in the kitchen made us feel like we were being welcomed into a friend's home, not just checking into an invisible room booking. The farm setting was quiet, with horse stables and chickens at the entrance to the barn area. We heard that a restaurant was starting on site, though it wasn't open during our stay. I'll keep it on my list for a return visit. Thank you so much for the hospitality. 🙏🏾

Clare made breakfast in the kitchen and chatted as she cooked, which made us feel at home. Everyone ate together at a large table, and that made breakfast more enjoyable. Her two friendly, well-behaved dogs lay quietly nearby. We were in the Green room for six nights. It's a big, clean room with comfy beds, a modern TV and a good shower. No light or sound gets in at night, and there's a hallway fridge with enough space for everyone. This is a lovely no-frills B&B, and the price reflects that. Clare was a great host, and her dogs came over to meet us when we arrived. Be sure to read the house rules first.

We had a great supper, the food was perfect, and the host was lovely. Good price too. Bring your own wine. We stayed over in our motorhome.

The owner's breakfast was spectacular, and dinner was delicious too. They serve it a few evenings each week for an extra fee, and her son did the cooking. I was visiting the Tank Museum and found this lovely old barn, renovated beautifully and very comfortable. The owner is a sweet, welcoming lady. I'd happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

The breakfast was great, and Claire was pleasant and chatty in the morning. We generally had a good break at this B&B, in a beautiful area with true dark skies. The room we were given was small, with a tiny shower area; I think the other rooms were roomier and more comfortable. The plug wouldn't stay down in the minuscule sink, and there was no hot water at 8.45 one evening. Claire said she hadn't been entirely well, but it was still disappointing that after sending me a reminder to pay the balance seven days beforehand, she hadn't realized we were coming. We only had a brief pause while a room was found. It wasn't too expensive, and the room did the job. I'd originally planned to spend just one night in it, which would have been better.
