Jackie was a fantastic host, and we loved the thoughtful little touches, including the breakfast items. The house itself is wonderful, with really comfortable beds and a kitchen, which was a bonus. The stairs are quite steep if stairs are difficult for you, but my elderly mother managed them without any problem. Highly recommend!

Jackie met us when we arrived and gave us helpful suggestions for local places to go. The house was clean, well stocked with fresh bread, milk, yoghurt, fruit and other extras, and had games that came in handy with the weather we had that weekend. The beds were very comfortable and the wifi worked without any issues while we were there. It's an easy walk into the local village for pubs, and a great base for exploring nearby beauty spots. What a great find, with so much attention to detail. We'd definitely recommend it.

There’s convenient parking on the property, and the cottage is attached to the owners' house. The bedroom is quite small, and the cabinet beside the bed means you have to crawl over the bed to get into it. The place might have been okay if it had been clean, but it really wasn't. There was dust in lots of places, old peanuts in a kitchen drawer, and grease in the oven and on the baking sheet. The internet was okay when it worked, but it cut out quite often.

I stayed here with two friends in May and would really recommend it. The garden was gorgeous, and the host was very kind and helpful. There were plenty of extras, and the kitchen was well equipped and stocked with herbs, spices and oils. The bedrooms were good, and there was a relaxing sitting area. Everything was clean.

Jackie met us and left the essentials, so we didn't need to go shopping. Conveniently, the shop is just across the road. My sister, cousin and I were there to visit family, and we felt very welcome. It was only a quick visit, but we hope to come back later this year or early next year. Totally recommend. I'd give the service, cleanliness and hospitality 10/10. Thank you, Jackie 🙏
