The music was pretty good and the beer was okay, but one local always seems to spoil things. He gives you dead eyes and acts like a tough guy. Maybe he just doesn’t like people who aren’t local.

Loved this place. Great service, pool, darts and plenty more. A pound for two games of pool!? Amazing.

A great pub with a friendly atmosphere and good bands every weekend.

We found this pub while in holmfirth for the food and drink festival and ended up staying all night. Brilliant place, and the band was top notch.

After seeing Terrorvision at the Picturedome, we popped in while a band was still playing. Great pub, friendly staff, good beer, a female vocalist in a rock band, and last but not least, the pub dog. I’ll definitely come back for a pint next time I’m in Holmfirth.
