Our family group of 14 stayed at Thornbury for the weekend, spread across the Lodge, Bungalow and Caravan. Everything was clean and had what we needed. The children loved seeing the farm animals, especially the goats. We spent time playing games on the green and walking around the lakes, and the small park was lovely for the little ones. Even the older children enjoyed the slide. There's no bar currently, but it didn't affect our stay. The owners were great and very friendly.

Quiet, pretty and away from the noise, this felt quite cut off from the world. The accommodation was a decent size and had most things you might need. The host was helpful and friendly too. Thanks!

Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer! The kids were so happy to see the chickens, rabbits and goats, and we took a little walk to see them every day. There's a play park and bar, plus an open area and fishing lake, and the stroll around the beautiful area was lovely. We stayed in a spacious, clean lodge with everything we needed. It's a great little gem for families, and it's very accessible and disability friendly, which is a huge plus. We'll definitely be back soon. Highly recommend, 10/10 🤩

The grounds were the best part for us, with lovely walks by the ponds and meadows, and a big enclosed field where the dogs could run off lead. We stayed in Cedar for a week in August. It needs updating, and the decor felt tired beside the place our other family members had. We also had a few run-ins with the feathered neighbours, especially one cockerel who clearly ran the place! 😆 He had plenty of character and even worked as a baby gate. It was a really enjoyable week, though it would be good to have the bar open during the busier weeks.

Waking up to the chickens and rabbits was lovely, and the owners were really friendly. It’s such a peaceful spot, and we’ll definitely come back. The facilities are well looked after, the fishing lake is packed with fish, and it felt impossible not to catch one. A fantastic campsite for families, with everything you need for a great getaway.
