It was clean and fresh, with pretty much everything we needed. There wasn’t a bread knife or a microwave, but we managed perfectly well without them. The accommodation is lovely, and although it’s only a few minutes from town, it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere.

We came back for our second stay on our 39th wedding anniversary, and it was still as amazing as the first time. Last year we went to the Edan project, and this year we visited Carnglaze Caverns. If you haven’t been, it’s a must. The Wendy house was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. We first came for a quiet getaway for our 38th anniversary, and it was just right. We’d give it five stars and recommend it to all our friends, though maybe we should keep our secret place to ourselves from now on.

We’ll be coming back for another holiday. Our Wendy House is a wonderful spot for a quiet break in Devon, beautifully equipped, with excellent decor and a very comfortable feel. We highly recommend it.

It’s close enough to everything for an easy stay, but far enough from the hustle and bustle to feel relaxing. A lovely place, and I hope to come back some day.
