Three Swallows

We spent four nights here in February with our two dogs and had a fabulous break. The hosts were lovely, and our bed was comfortable. Our room was in an annexe with its own outside access, which was so convenient with the dogs. We enjoyed a range of breakfasts, and even though we’d only booked bed and breakfast, we chose to eat here every evening too because the food was so good. Highly recommended!

We went to the three swallows for a midweek getaway with our newborn earlier this month, and had a really special meal. The owners were kind and welcoming, and had a lovely chat with us. They even held and doted on the baby while we ate. The Dover sole mains were cooked and presented perfectly. We especially enjoyed the buttery crushed new potatoes and long stem broccoli with mint. The traditionally made sticky toffee pudding afterwards was delicious too. Well worth a visit if you’re in Cley next the Sea. We’ll be back.

I travelled alone and felt completely welcome, safe, and comfortable throughout my stay. The room was beautiful, the bed was so comfy, and the tea tray had really good quality things on it. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful whenever I needed anything. Dinner was great too. The miso padron peppers were delicious, and my sirloin steak was cooked perfectly. There’s an excellent bar with a wonderful wine selection. It’s a stunning part of the world and well worth visiting. I’d love to come back for a long weekend. Thank you for making my stay so special.

The three swallows gave us a lovely experience, and we had a great chat with the owner. The kids’ puddings, mini puds, and drinks were wonderful too. For the meal itself, the ham hock fell off the bone, and the rack of lamb with quinoa and feta was beautifully balanced. The kids’ toad in the hole was fabulous as well. Can’t wait to come back!
