We couldn't fault our stay at The Sun Inn. The staff provided good service and deserve recognition. Our family room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Weekend cooked breakfasts were delicious, and the evening menu had a great selection, generous portions and high quality ingredients. It's a cosy, inviting pub with rooms.

The bed sheets were super soft, and my spacious, clean room, number 7, was lovely. I was up early for work, so the self service cold buffet breakfast suited me well. Food came quickly and portions were hearty. It was my first visit, and I liked seeing a pub so well used by locals on a Monday night. The staff were friendly and helpful. I only gave four stars because a few things needed attention, like the shower head and marks on the wall from old fittings. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We visited for a friend's birthday, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate one person in our party who uses a wheelchair. The food was superb, and the friendly team gave first class service. It was lovely to see a village pub busy with locals. We'll definitely return, thank you.

We'd booked dinner, which was a good idea as the place was packed. We both had the delicious short rib beef, the servers were lovely, and the Naptons cider on draft was fantastic. Before that, the manager gave us a warm welcome, explained everything and showed us to our twin room. It was just right, with good tea making facilities, great homemade biscuits, a large shower and quality toiletries. The beds were comfortable, it was very quiet, and we slept well. We were there for one night during a long walk. Breakfast doesn't start until 9am, but they kindly let us preorder, so it was ready when we came down. The full English was excellent. A perfect stay in a lovely inn.

The rooms were satisfactory, and parking was limited. I had to drive around for a while before I eventually found a space. We were told a cooked breakfast wouldn't be available until 9am, which didn't work for us because we had to attend a business meeting at that time. At first, the staff member offered no compromise, then said something would be laid out before 9. It wasn't. The foreign cleaner came and sorted it out.
