The bathroom felt a bit cramped, though I’m larger than average, so that’s a very minor gripe. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was excellent. Otherwise, pretty much everything at the Miners Arms was great. A very pleasant stay and good value for money.

I travelled alone, and at other places that can mean getting overlooked, but the service here was exceptional. The food was proper home cooking, with a simple but delicious menu, and the local real ales were great too. The Miners Arms is an amazing old pub, the oldest in the village, in beautiful Eyam, which has a fascinating history. Well done to the staff. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

We were a family group of nine in for lunch, and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. There’s an extensive menu with sandwiches as well as meals. All the food arrived together, hot and lovely. The staff were kind, helpful, and efficient. I’d recommend it and will come back myself.

There’s a large car park behind the pub, and the friendly staff served us amazing food. I can especially recommend the cod and chips. It’s a fantastic pub in a historically important part of the Peak District, with a great selection of ales. The menu prices are dated 24 January 2025.

The food was beautifully cooked and reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly. My partner said his steak was the best he’d had in ages. I had the tuna, which was really tasty and felt healthy with all the vegetables. A lovely meal.
