Tim and the lovely team made sure we had what we needed, greeting us when we arrived and again as we left. The house worked brilliantly for our hen weekend with 18 women: plenty of bedrooms and space to spread out, and the beds were so comfortable. We all had a fabulous time. The setting is beautiful, full of nature and gorgeous daffodils, and it really feels like your own little world. Carsington water is about an hour's walk away. It was exactly what we wanted, we couldn't have asked for better accommodation.

We had the big room opposite as well, which was perfect, and the WiFi was great for anyone who needed it. More than 20 of us stayed across five cottages, and we had no complaints about space or cleanliness. The views were fantastic, the beds did their job, and the heating worked. We didn't really get to try the facilities because of our schedules, but I imagine they'd be amazing in summer. We're all thinking of coming back in 2026. Keep it up, guys.

The cottage views took our breath away, and the location around Stainsborough hall was stunning. Stainsborough hall itself was absolutely beautiful. I'd highly recommend it.

The cottages and shared space had all the facilities we needed. Communication was amazing, and we got loads of support arranging and booking activities. It made for an amazing stay for my sister's hen do.

We had a lovely girls' weekend at Henmore Cottage. The area around it was beautiful, with plenty of lovely country walks and equally lovely places to eat and drink. The cottage was immaculately clean and had all the necessities for settling in. Its garden felt private and opened onto a shared garden for guests staying across several cottages. Thanks so much to Joanne & Tim. I'd most certainly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay.
