All Seasons Gatwick Guest House

The front door lock broke while we were there and left us trapped inside. A staff member spent about 30 minutes trying to repair it. When we asked if we could use another exit, we were told no, even though he used that exit himself. In the end, he woke another guest and made us climb out through their window. We were late for our flight because of this. We contacted the guest house several times to ask for a refund, but they kept refusing. The way they handled it showed no care for our safety or wellbeing. Completely unsafe, unprofessional, and disappointing. Would not recommend.

The manager/receptionist was amazing and very helpful. We could catch a bus to the airport, and it was a short walk to the lovely old English pub The Old Six Bells, along with a charming old church and cemetery. There were food shops close by too. A leisurely 25-minute walk took us into Horley Town Centre, which was a lovely place to look around and shop.

We arrived around 1am after a delayed flight, and the front desk guy was friendly. Our family of five needed a decent night’s rest at a cheap price, and this met my expectations. The beds were surprisingly comfortable, though my wife found the fairly firm pillows uncomfortable. I was fine with them. The hotel isn’t updated or pristine, and the carpets looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while, but that was okay. This isn’t luxury accommodation, so I’m a little surprised by how extreme some reviews are. I gave it three stars because it was as expected, neither better nor worse. If you want a beautiful place or royal treatment, this might not suit you. For an affordable, decent night’s sleep, it works fine, and I’d stay again. We took an Uber from the airport and might try the buses back.

The bus stop is right across the road, so it’s a really convenient spot for Gatwick. We stayed one night before our flight. The room was large, with comfy beds, tea and coffee, towels, and a hairdryer. It wasn’t the warmest inside, but the shower was hot. Perfect for a quick airport stay.
