Rosemead Guest House

The taxi to the airport the next morning was very good, and the prices overall were good too. The return pickup was less straightforward. We were given taxi numbers to call from the airport so we could collect our car from Rosemead, but only one could come within an hour, which turned it into a bit of a nightmare. That wasn’t Fiona’s fault. The guest house itself was very nice, although the shower room felt so cramped that we had to dry ourselves in the bedroom. Thank you.

I’ve stayed at Rosemead Guesthouse several times before going on holiday. It’s only a few minutes by taxi from Gatwick, and the host, Fiona, arranges the ride as part of the stay. Being able to leave the car there for the whole holiday is another bonus. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and breakfast is outstanding. I’d highly recommend Rosemead and plan to stay again next year. A.S.Payne.

Fiona made us feel very welcome with our puppy, and was exceptionally friendly throughout. That matters a lot to us, and we’ll definitely stay again when we visit relatives. We chose Rosemead because it’s dog friendly, and the location also made visiting family much easier. The guest house is tastefully decorated, and our bedroom was beautiful and more than comfortable, with a really comfy bed. We had a full breakfast both mornings, nicely cooked and plenty to set us up for the day. I’m so glad we found it. :)

Our room was nice, and the staff were friendly. They let us check in early to fit our arrival time, which was helpful. Breakfast was a mixup, though. We’d ordered it for 7:30 the night before and clearly circled that time on the form, but the next morning nothing was ready because they thought we meant 8:30. We ate a cold breakfast and had to leave at 8:15. When we emailed afterwards to ask for a refund, they agreed, but it was odd they hadn’t offered one themselves.
