The room made for a really comfortable night's sleep, and it stayed at a pleasant, natural temperature. In the morning, breakfast was waiting in the dining room, with toast and cereals. My boys and I were only there for one night, but we were very happy with the stay. The property sits at the quiet end of a lane. We were welcomed by the owners, who were both so friendly and happy to help. It felt nothing like the overly sterile big hotel chains. The what3words address is ///tensions.available.inserting.

Karoline made us feel at home straight away, greeting us warmly and being open and friendly throughout. The house is beautifully decorated, spotless, and warm and welcoming. It's out in the countryside, yet Horncastle is about a five-minute drive away and Woodhall Spa around 10-15 minutes, which made it a handy base for exploring the area. Karoline and Kim also make a real effort to limit their carbon footprint, including using less plastic and offering vegan breakfast options. We were visiting friends and had a lovely stay. We'd happily come back and recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quality place in a beautiful setting.
