Horseheath made a great base for our days at Duxford Airfield and in Cambridge, both just a 15-20 minute drive away. The village is quiet and pretty, and we enjoyed a walk along the street to look at the thatched roofs and gardens. We also liked the welcome pack with the history of Chequer Cottage and Horseheath. Our room was above the garage, separate from the house, with a lovely view over the garden. It felt cosy, the bathroom was roomy, and there were plenty of teas and coffees. The homemade cookies, port, gin and chocolates were lovely extras. The bed and pillows were really comfortable, so we slept peacefully. Debbie and Dave met us in the driveway and were friendly from the start, with useful tips about local things to do and places to eat. Breakfast was delicious, with strawberry compote, cereal, toast, croissants, tea, coffee and orange juice, plus a cooked option of our choice. We travel a lot, and this is one of the best B&Bs we've stayed in. We only wish we'd booked longer, and we'll recommend it to friends and family.

We started our stay with coffee and cake in the garden, a lovely welcome. The room was beautiful and clean, and the shower was excellent. Debbie and Dave were so friendly and had helpful suggestions for walks and places to eat. Breakfast was fantastic, with strawberries, yoghurt, cereal, croissants, toast and a full English. We also went to the local vineyard for afternoon tea and wine tasting, which was really good.

Breakfast was delicious and filling, with all the options served in the hosts' dining room. The annexe room was lovely too, with a huge walk-in shower and a really comfortable bed. I'd definitely come back.

Dave and Debbie took great care of us and were so lovely. Breakfast was delightful, and most of the area's attractions are fairly close by. A real hidden gem.

We've only just arrived, but it's already such an amazing, relaxing place. The lamas are amazing too! My partner and I have only been married one year, and we'll definitely book again for next year. We haven't even left yet. Really amazing, would definitely recommend! Xx
