John was so friendly and helpful, and made the stay feel special. The rooms were clean and lovely, and it was a quiet area with free parking on the road outside. The town centre, Dover Castle and ferry docks are all nearby. Highly recommend, and we’ll be back. ;)

The concierge was amazing, and the room was clean enough. Still, it’s very small for the price, with location at the bottom of the castle as its main advantage. The bath hadn’t been cleaned properly, and the Nescafe had gone solid, so it seemed to have been sitting there a while.

We arrived at 2am and then again at 4:30am, and the host was there to greet us both times. Does he ever sleep? He was always available, friendly, and up for a chat. He’s from New Zealand and gave us lots of helpful information about Dover and things to see and do. Great place, would recommend.

The couple running this B&B are absolutely lovely and gave us a warm welcome. Breakfast was decent, and our sweet hosts came over to offer more bacon and sausages. Our room was clean, but the shower was right in the bedroom, in front of the bed with no wall or anything, and the toilet was just outside the room. It was close by and not shared with other rooms, but still awkward. To be fair, ours was the only room set up that way, as the others were fully booked. If you want a decent place in Dover with a warm welcome, this could suit you.
