Edgerton Hotel

The suite was warm and comfortable, far nicer than I’d expected, and a lovely place to unwind after a long journey. Even arriving late in an unfamiliar area, I felt safe. Breakfast in bed was a treat, though the “full English” was more of a suggestion than the real thing. I didn’t mind, and the welcoming smiles and thoughtful touches made the stay feel special. It was worth every penny.

I really enjoyed my two nights here. The bed was clean and so comfortable, and they gave me a ground floor room even though I’d booked at the last minute. The room was lovely for me on my own, though it might feel a bit tight for a couple. I wasn’t impressed by the breakfast.

The staff were lovely, and the shower was a nice surprise, powerful and good to use. I stayed one night with my daughter. The rooms are basic but clean, and the beds were really comfortable.

We’ve stayed there over the last few days and found it peaceful and really nice. It’s in a lovely area, and despite what some people say, the hotel feels safe. The rooms were spotless, and the car is kept in a secure, CCTV-monitored car park behind the hotel. The staff are polite and courteous. We’ll certainly stay there whenever we visit Huddersfield.
