Clare and Gene were so welcoming and lovely, and nothing was too much trouble. The hosts were most conscientious, and the whole stay was fab and really relaxed. Our room was gorgeous. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh, with juice, lovely bread, tea, coffee and fresh fruit available whenever you arrived, just help yourself. I’d never tried vegan sausages before, but they were great!
I’ll stay here again next time I visit Hull. It’s a beautiful house in a truly lovely area, and a place you’ll miss once you leave. Built around the 1900's, it has an exceptional size and quality, with lovely stained glass, oak panelling, good-sized rooms and beautiful wood floors.
The hosts were so welcoming and friendly, and there was a fabulous cooked breakfast every day with plenty of choice. The house is beautiful and in a lovely, quiet location. A perfect base for exploring the area, and well worth visiting.
We had a fantastic stay in a lovely period home. Claire and gene made us feel comfortable and very welcome, like we were visiting friends. We’ll definitely be back. From Debbie and Nick.
Kayla the cat was especially welcoming, and there were lots of fantastic pets to add to the stay. The owners were passionate and friendly, and the house had so many beautiful features. This characterful, cosy and comfortable B&B is vegan friendly and right in the leafy Avenues area. Our room was large, the bed was huge and really comfortable, and there were thoughtful touches throughout. We’ll be back!
