The Crown

We were made so welcome with our motorhome, and it’s hard to believe how friendly the owners and locals are. There’s plenty to do, including darts, dominoes, pool and TV with all the live sports, plus the food is great and reasonably priced. Before heading home, we stayed for Sunday lunch. My roast beef looked just like the photo on the website and tasted absolutely delicious. A wonderful weekend at a family-run pub with a brilliant atmosphere and excellent food. We’ll be back, and I’d urge others in the area to visit. There are lovely walks along the Humber estuary too. Thanks to Mark and Nicky.

We were performing at a reenactment event at Fort Paull and decided to take a break and visit a local pub. So glad we did. The food was fantastic, the place was nicely done out and the staff were really friendly. The landlady made a real effort to make sure we had a great time. Highly recommend, and we’ll be back next year!

I went once when it seemed like a nice place, with a smashing atmosphere and two separate areas, the pub and the dance floor. It’s quite different now. There’s a fishing shop at the front, and from what I’ve read they plan to make a tapas restaurant at the back. That hasn’t happened yet, and I don’t know if they’ve dropped the idea or what.

Lovely family running the pub and a brilliant atmosphere. The vegetarian curry and coffee cake are amazing! There’s a big lounge for food, plus a function room you can hire for free. We’ll definitely consider it for our next family engagement. Thanks, Nikki xx
