The Dorchester Hotel

The location is very good and it’s value for money, but I stayed for two nights and they didn’t put the heating on the second day. Reception was closed at 9pm when I tried to find someone. I tried to contact someone again the next day, and didn’t find anyone until 8:45am, even though the advertised reception hours are 7am to 10pm.

Great value for money. The room was clean and warm, and the staff were very nice. Thank you, Abdul. He rang to ask when I’d be checking in and was there to greet me when I arrived. The only thing I can fault is that there wasn’t a spoon to stir my coffee, but I’ll definitely stay again.

The staff were really kind and lovely, even when I accidentally got stains on the sheets. I stayed here recently for a few days and had a lovely stay. The beds were soft enough for me, and the showers and toilets worked as they should. The TV service was great too. The walls may be thin, but you’ll be fine as long as you don’t have noisy neighbours. I’d 100% come back.

I’ve been staying in Hull for a few weeks and tried a few different places. This one is lovely, very clean and tidy, with brilliant staff. The TV has all the channels you’d expect and there are tea and coffee facilities. It’s classed as a budget hotel, and it is, but I’ve stayed in pricier places nearby and would rather have been here. Looks like they’ve spent a few quid on it, and I hope that investment pays off. One happy customer. Thanks again.
