The room and shower weren't up to Marriott standards, but for the price, that was fair enough. What stood out was the down-to-earth, friendly service, plus a cup of tea that was really good. The location and price were great, and I could park right outside and see my car while I ate breakfast.

The owners were kind and helpful, and breakfast was marvellous. It’s a tidy, efficient little B&B with comfortable, clean rooms, right by a lovely historic area and park. Great value compared with the big chains.

I’ll happily stay here whenever I have meetings around Hull, and I’d recommend it to anyone. The family were all lovely and helpful, and the food was very nice. My room was kept to a very high standard of cleanliness. The owners went out of their way to make me comfortable, even drawing me a map to help me get from A to B since I don’t know Hull well. Thanks for all the help and great service.

There were ten of us from the Hull Animal Welfare Trust's shop, and we had a lovely afternoon. The owners couldn't do enough for us. Garden Mews served gorgeous homemade cakes, lovely sandwiches, and plenty of tea and coffee. Thank you!
