The owner was really nice to chat with, and the rooms were fantastic, clean and tidy throughout. Shops, restaurants and local entertainment are all close by, with reasonable prices. There was always a variety of food and drink available in the dining room, plus a quiet room for reading. I’ll definitely book here again.

Linda looked after us superbly, and there was a buffet breakfast every day. Our twin room had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. The road is quiet, yet the town and beach are very close, and parking outside was no problem. We had a great stay at this Victorian guest house and will be back.

Our room at The Gables was spacious, comfortable and warm, with a welcoming feel. It had everything we could need: an iron, hairdryer, fan and kettle, plus plenty of tea, coffee, milk and sugar. The bathroom had good quality shower gel, shampoo and hand wash too. Linda was welcoming and quick to respond when we asked about arriving early. She was also there if we needed anything, including advice on where to eat. Her recommendation of Chives was spot on. The house is a lovely town house on a very quiet street, close to the sea and local amenities. We hadn’t stayed in a guest house before, but this visit to Hunstanton was memorable. Thank you, Linda!

Linda was a wonderful host, and breakfast was just right, with a good menu to choose from the night before. Our room was very comfortable, and the shampoo and other toiletries were a nice touch. The Gables is also well placed for the town, gardens and other spots. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return to carry on walking along the Norfolk Coast. We’ll definitely recommend it to friends.
