The Potting Shed

The way in through the shed door gave us such a warm welcome. We were celebrating my birthday and semi-retirement, and Julie looked after us so kindly and helpfully all evening. Very professional, and a real credit to the restaurant chain. The food was delicious and competitively priced, and the place was clean and spacious. We came to the Potting Shed to visit family nearby, and had a fantastic dinner there together. My partner and I also had a wonderful stay. The room was spacious but still cosy, with a really comfortable bed and sofa, a fantastic shower, and lovely lighting. I’m quite particular about that! Breakfast was excellent too, and the staff were friendly, attentive and nice. There were great games packs to keep the kids busy, and a big garden. It must be lovely all year round. We’ll definitely be back.

Archive looked after us at lunch and knew the menu well. He checked that we were happy without hovering, and even said we could take the pizza home, or the wine if we hadn't finished it. That made us feel comfortable doing so. He was a really lovely lad and a real part of why we enjoyed it. We'll definitely come back. The restaurant had a lively buzz, with families of all ages, and the Christmas decorations were lovely.

Alex C made the venue change easy to manage, even with a few logistical hiccups at the start. He was calm, friendly and clearly cared about everyone having a good time. The service from the staff was prompt and attentive, and the meal was delicious, with a varied menu and fresh, flavorful food. I went to a comedy night here and had a great time from beginning to end. The comedy lineup was hilarious, and the service and food made the evening even better. Thanks to Alex C for making everything run so smoothly. We’ll definitely be back, and I’d recommend the venue for a fun night out.
