We made this clean, comfortable cottage our base for visiting Cambridge and really enjoyed the little rural town of Fenstanton. Our hosts had left the fridge stocked with breakfast things, which was lovely. We stayed three nights and found it just right for a couple. 🥰

A cosy, roomy bungalow for two, with a little garden to sit in and parking right outside. It’s a nice take on a B&B: breakfast ingredients are provided in generous amounts, so you can cook them how you like in the kitchen. The host was lovely. There were a few harmless wood lice indoors, which might bother you if you dislike creepy crawlies, but otherwise it was a wonderful stay.

There’s plenty of history here, and long walks across the fens are close by. The village is quiet, everything is nearby, and the place was super clean.
