We had a brilliant few days at Kits cottage. The views are stunning, and the location is beautiful and central. The cottage was immaculate, and there’s free parking. It sits on a steep hill, so walking up may be difficult for people with physical difficulties, but it worked perfectly for us. I’d highly recommend it and will book again.

Hythe and the surrounding area were lovely to explore, and we’d happily stay at Kit's Cottage again. The garden looked and sounded wonderful, and from the cottage there’s a lovely view over St Leonard's church and out to sea. Inside, it was clean, bright, and comfortable, with lots of useful, thoughtful touches that made it easy to settle in for the week.

Even in January, we could sit on the front patio in the evening with a glass of wine and see the distant lights of Boulogne. It was pure bliss. Kits Cottage is perched above the lively town of Hythe, with lovely views across the Channel, and it’s a clean, modern, comfortable place with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the bathroom was spotless. It makes a great base for exploring the south east Kent coastline. Rob was a pleasure to deal with and always available when we had a question. We’ll definitely return and are already recommending it to friends and family. Roger & Gail, January 2022.

A lovely, clean cottage with everything you need, especially in the kitchen. Every front window looks out over Hythe, and the views are amazing. It’s dog friendly and very central, with a nice High Street full of independent shops. If you don’t want to drive, there’s a bus to Folkestone or New Romney, and Brockhill Park is a short walk away for a great dog walk. We’d definitely recommend it and would go back.

There’s plenty to do nearby, whether you want to explore Hythe on foot, drive to other attractions, enjoy the coast and countryside, or just relax for a few days or a week. The local shops are worth a look, and the places to eat are good too, with the White Hart well worth a visit. The cottage is beautifully presented and well placed above Hythe, with views of the sea, France, and the Kent coast to the east and west.
