The hut kept us warm even with overnight temperatures forecast at -5 degrees. It had two electric radiators and a small but powerful log burner, so we were cosy throughout. We stayed with our kids in the Hog Deer enclosure, and though it was compact, all four of us had enough room. The beds were really comfortable, there were plenty of clean towels, and the shower room was small but well equipped, with an excellent shower. They also left tea, coffee, hot chocolate and marshmallows for us to toast at the outdoor fire pit. The hut itself was lovely, spotless and tidy. Getting around mattered too: we had a golf buggy for most of our stay, which was essential, since our accommodation was at the bottom of Port Lympne and the restaurant we chose was a 20 minute buggy ride uphill. The food was good and the whole Port Lympne experience was first class. It was pricey, but I think it was worth it, especially as the stay helps support the wonderful work of the Aspinall foundation. I can thoroughly recommend it.

The meal was worth every penny, and we enjoyed the generous portions. The restaurant's small size kept things intimate, while the waiters and waitresses made the trip feel worthwhile. The reception ladies were so friendly and welcoming too. Such a romantic place.

Seeing the lions up close was really special, and the safari, food and staff all added to a memorable night. We stayed at the Lion Lodge for a special birthday, and the accommodation was out of this world. I honestly can't fault the experience and would recommend it in a heartbeat.

Feeding the giraffes was unforgettable, and the accommodation was exquisite. It's beautifully designed, with animals that make your heart sing. This place is definitely worth the money if it helps sustain such a safe place for wildlife. There's nowhere quite like it, and I'll have to go back and keep supporting the wildlife parks and their rewilding programmes.

The Mansion, Garden Rooms and Tree top bar were all great spots to eat and drink, with lovely scenery and the sound of the Lion roaring nearby. Port Lympne is a beautiful, well put together place, and the perfect place for me to experience wolves, along with other beautiful animals. I stayed in the Wolf Lodge because I've always had a passion for Wolves.
