The Swan Hotel is right in the center of town, which made it easy to enjoy some lovely walks. The staff really went out of their way to make us happy. Eddie especially made us feel welcome, and the guy in the Kitchen served us lovely food. George was so hospitable, and the Full English Breakfast he made was very special. We had a really good stay and will definitely come back. Thank you

There's a very good curry house attached to this old pub in the middle of town. You can eat in the bar if you have a dog. There's no breakfast, but there's a cafe across the road. Parking is limited, though it was fine this time of year, in December.

The staff were great, but there was a staff party that went on until 2am. My family and I had to be up early for a funeral the next day. They knew the party was happening, and if they'd told me, I'd have booked somewhere else. I complained and was ignored. Both things are really annoying, so stay at your own risk, as you won't get any help from the owners.

We had the Hythe room at the front of the hotel. It was a great size and spotlessly clean, and parking was included. The staff were excellent, both professional and friendly.

We had a lovely stay. The rooms were great, the restaurant food was delicious, and the hotel staff were friendly.
