Black Bull Inn

Didn't use the rooms on this visit, but the welcome was friendly, there's a good choice of ale, and the food was great. Thank you.

The restaurant food was absolutely delicious, and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. I slept like a baby, and that huge shower was amazing too. I only ended up here because my usual hotel had no availability, but I'm so glad I did. Stephen the owner greeted me, and from then until I left the next morning, I felt at home. It was such a warm welcome and lovely hospitality. I couldn't have asked for a nicer stay, and I'll definitely be back soon. I'll book here instead of my usual place from now on. Keep up the great work.

The staff made us feel very welcome, and the beer was very good. We spent the night in our camper van in the quiet, level car park. It's definitely on our list for another visit.

The food was the highlight for me. Every dish tasted fantastic, seemed freshly made with care, and the ingredients were top quality. You can tell The Black Bull is proud of its home-cooked food. We ate in the dedicated restaurant area, which was quiet and peaceful, and the Christmas decorations gave it a lovely festive feel. The pub itself is charming too, and the staff were welcoming and friendly as soon as we arrived. A really nice meal in a warm setting, whether you're after something festive or just a good dinner. I had a wonderful time at The Black Bull and can't recommend it enough.
