The location was just right, with parking at the door and a short walk to fantasy island. We stayed in the newly refurbished cove, a stunning little cottage done to a high spec. The rooms were spacious, the sitting room was just the right size, and everything was clean and tidy. The hot tub was a little extra that made it even better. The only problem was ants everywhere, but that can’t be helped and there were traps set for them. We’ll definitely stay again.

butlins is a pretty good place. I gave the rooms 5 stars because the bedding is ready and set out for you, and everything is clean. The service is fine, though staff don’t really smile. I understand, because they probably work for minimum wage and barely get paid. Location gets 2 stars because it’s nearly a 1 hour drive, almost 2 hours, from lincoln.

Lovely garden centre with everything you’d expect to find in one. Basil's Cafe is excellent, serving breakfast, brunch and lunch, plus a huge choice of cakes and sweet treats. Highly recommend.

The beach is about a five-minute walk away, and The Sandancer has entertainment too. Fantasy Island is even closer, roughly two minutes on foot, with plenty of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants nearby. Alex' Caravan was clean and relaxing, with three bedrooms: one double and two rooms with twin singles. Tea, coffee and milk were already there, along with a TV. It's self-catering, so bring your own sheets and towels. We had a great holiday.

Everything you need is about a five-minute walk from the site. The staff gave us a very warm welcome, and the caravan was comfortable, clean and tidy. The site was clean too.
