The Bunk House

The photos don’t really capture how beautiful this place is. The cabin has everything for a comfortable stay and feels like a home from home. We loved the peaceful lochside setting and stunning scenery, and Alison was a great host, always just a call away if we had questions. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely return. If you’re considering it, I’d say just book. You won’t be disappointed.

We had booked two nights at Caledonian Cabins but loved it so much that we added another without hesitation. Alison was warm, kind and helpful whenever we needed anything, and explained everything in detail. Her welcome made a real difference. There were two couples and one solo traveler in our group, and the place suited us all well during our five-day Scotland trip. The calm surroundings were beautiful and thoughtfully arranged. We enjoyed taking photos, looking at the views and soaking up the peace. Barbecue evenings were a highlight, cooking and laughing together in such a lovely setting, and the hot baths were great after exploring. We also went boating, which made the trip even more memorable. A wonderful mix of fun, good memories and relaxation. Highly recommended for a peaceful break with friends or loved ones. We’d love to come back!

We had a fantastic stay, and I’d definitely like to try the other cabins too. Even though there were cabins beside us, ours still felt like its own little space. The back door leads to the hot tub, so we didn’t have to pass the neighbours much. It warmed up well, though the floors were a little cold. Warm socks solved that for us. The cabin was well organized and very clean, and honestly, one of the best I’ve stayed in around Scotland. I couldn’t fault it.

£10 for the night, and there’s free water to refill the tanks. It’s a lovely little spot tucked behind the log cabins, and it felt like having our own wild camp. I’ll definitely come back.
