Little Ship Inn Rooms (Adults Only)

Bad pub. Cider was 7.50 for tourists and 4.20 for Scottish people. Never again.

The staff were friendly, but the place is incredibly run down and nobody seemed to manage the noisy guests. The receptionist said she’d only ever seen two rooms herself. The rooms are very dated, right down to old carpet in the toilet and bathroom. Probably my worst night’s sleep in about ten years of travelling. If you stay here, at least don’t bring kids.

It’s handy for the train station and right on the high street. The hotel is basic, but the bed was clean and comfortable, and the Wi-Fi reception was fairly good. There’s parking behind the hotel. I was disappointed by the weak shower flow. The bar menu already has a good range of meals, with a specials menu adding more choices. Service was very quick, and breakfast arrived promptly after we ordered.

DISGUSTING! I booked a last-minute stay here in July, and now I understand why a room was available. When we arrived, we found mould and bed bugs crawling around. They took our money, and whenever we call to arrange a refund, Mr. David, who says he isn’t the owner, hangs up on me.
