The afternoon tea was delicious and great value, and the hotel is perfectly placed for visiting Inverness. I really enjoyed my recent two-night stay. The decor was beautiful, the rooms were excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Laura and Courtney in the main restaurant made our stay extra special and are real assets to the hotel. Silvia from the spa team was warm and friendly too, and gave me the best Swedish massage I’ve ever had. I’d definitely recommend the afternoon tea.

The best part was how far the staff went to help. They even sent a taxi to my hotel to pick me up, and the place is dog-friendly, which was a big bonus. The rooms were spacious, the spa was lovely, and the view was gorgeous. The food was great overall, and I chose to eat there both nights. I had the tomato and mozzarella salad, stuffed bell pepper twice because I liked it so much, and fish tacos. I also had the Aperol spritz and Chenin Blanc wine. I’d absolutely stay again, though some food needed more flavour. Everything was undersalted, and I had to empty two salt packets onto every meal. Unsalted batter on the fish and an unsalted salad just aren’t good. I’d also suggest the chef use WAY more balsamic on the salads and garnishes. Luckily, I could spruce things up myself. The Aperol spritz was my biggest complaint on price, since it rarely costs the same as an Old Fashioned in most places.

Breakfast was delicious each morning, with plenty to choose from, and the swimming and spa facilities were relaxing and well maintained. The staff were all friendly and professional. We especially want to mention Marlene, whose kindness and thoughtfulness made our stay feel extra special. We really appreciated her warm, caring service. We had a lovely stay and would happily return. Highly recommend the Inverness Hotel & Spa.

The pool, gym, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were all open for us to use whenever we wanted, and every facility was spotless. It was a lovely way to unwind. Our room was tidy and, to our surprise, serviced daily. We were grateful to come back to a made-up room after a long day. The in-room Nespresso machine was great too. The hotel was nicely furnished, with beautiful Christmas decorations that made it extra cosy for the season. Everyone on staff was happy, friendly and ready to help with whatever we needed. Breakfast was fantastic, with a huge range of meats, eggs, hot buffet dishes, yoghurt and juices, and the timing worked well for us. A fabulous stay, thank you!

The spa was exactly what I came for. I spent all evening and the next day there, doing the jacuzzi, pool and steam room on repeat, right through the morning I left. After an incredibly rough 2025, I wanted a weekend on my own to splurge and relax poolside. I usually stay on the outskirts when I’m in Inverness, but this time I chose the hotel. It was clearly very popular for afternoon tea when I arrived. Ale at reception was one of the many receptionists. I called after booking with some questions, and she was so helpful with her answers and assurances that I felt less anxious about the weekend ahead. Happily, she was working when I arrived and sorted out the parking permit for Cathedral parking from the Spa. She’d also upgraded my single room to a double, which was amazing. Breakfast was made to order on Saturday and a self-service buffet on Sunday. I loved the fresh cheese and freshly cut fruit, along with the huge variety of cooked breakfast ingredients. I chose not to have room cleaning or a towel change, and was rewarded with a mini bottle of red, which I enjoyed after finally emerging from the spa. I’ll definitely be back.
