The lodges are really nice, with beautiful views, and the location is amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful too. We couldn’t find anything to fault and will definitely come back.

A beautiful spot by the loch, with a well-equipped lodge and a great hot tub on the veranda. You can launch a canoe directly from the site, and it’s handy for the Great Glen Trail. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended, though there may not be much for small children to do.

The lodge was clean, spacious, well equipped, and beautifully presented. After a day of walks and sightseeing, the hot tub was just right for winding down. Even overcast weather couldn’t spoil the stunning setting at 'the moorings'. Fiona and David were the best part of the visit. They were fantastic hosts and went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. We can’t thank them enough for such a lovely stay. I’d give them 10 stars if I could, and we’ll definitely come back to see them.

We arrived at the last minute during our first little tour of southern Scotland and loved our out-of-season stay. Waking up to those views was breathtaking, and there are really nice restaurants and bars nearby. The campsite was beautiful, the facilities were clean and warm, and the couple running it were so friendly and clearly cared about their guests. They were really accommodating too. We recommend a visit and hope to bring the family next time we’re in Scotland. It must be amazing in peak season. Thanks again for having us.

A lovely, clean, well-presented lodge, with a balcony and hot tub. The views are stunning, right on the shores of Loch Ness. It’s a peaceful place and makes a good base for visiting the area. There’s also a small children’s play area and laundry.
