Premier Inn Bridgend Central

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the location is handy, right by the Designer Outlet and a big Sainsburys. The car park was busy, but we found spaces over our two nights. It was a good stay overall, though the breakfast setup caused confusion. The breakfast area is small, with only one cook, which I understand. But reception gave us different instructions each time. On the first evening, we were told there was no need to book. In the morning, staff said we should have booked, though they found us a place. That evening we booked for the next day and were told we could pay in the morning. Then we were told we should have paid the night before and might have to wait at least 15 minutes if they could find us a space. We decided to leave and get breakfast on the way instead. Consistent advice from staff would prevent this kind of confusion and disappointment. I’d suggest booking and paying for breakfast ahead of time.

The staff made us feel very welcome and appreciated. I wish we’d taken their names, but the dark-haired woman behind the counter was lovely and helpful, and the older woman taking breakfast orders was a real highlight. We loved the hotel and its superb location, and we’ll stay here again.

Breakfast here is served rather than laid out as a buffet, and it’s much, much better that way. Parking is easy, with the hotel close to the motorway and some great shopping. Premier Inn Bridgend is the best one we’ve ever visited, with friendly, professional staff who go the extra mile for guests.

Everything you need is nearby, and the location is great. The staff are excellent, especially Linda, James and Sarah. Breakfast is freshly cooked in the morning, with no buffet food sitting around. I highly recommend staying here.
