The rooms have thoughtful details, and each one has a terrace overlooking Loch Ness. A lovely, secluded terraced garden leads down to the private beach and jetty. The breakfast is individual and truly excellent, as the pictures show. You can swim in Loch Ness, though only if you’re hardy, since the water may be a little warmer. Scotland has bed and breakfasts on almost every corner, but for something extraordinary, stay at Tigh Na Bruach with C and I. They’re an extremely charming and attentive host couple. If you haven’t stopped here by Loch Ness, you’ve missed out!

Catherine and Ian are great hosts, and the attention to detail throughout is amazing. The rooms are lovely and spacious, and breakfast was excellent, with homemade jams and marmalade. We were welcomed with tea and homemade cake when we arrived, a really nice touch. A beautiful B&B on the banks of Loch Ness.

We stayed here on our honeymoon 2 years ago, and it was the favorite B&B of our 2 week trip. Evenings on the patio, looking out over the loch, were lovely, and it was easy to walk into town. The place was incredibly peaceful, and the owners were absolutely wonderful.

The room was spotless, the bed comfortable, the food lovely, and the view beautiful. We felt incredibly welcome, and there wasn’t a single part of our visit we could fault. Easily the best place we’ve stayed. I’d rate it higher if I could!

The scenery is stunning, with a fantastic view of majestic Loch Ness from the lovely private terrace, hardly 30 meter away, with comfortable chairs and a table. The rooms are very luxurious, and the bathroom is well equipped. Fort Augustus, Drumnadrochnit, and Inverness are close by, and the drive around the loch is magnificent. There’s loads to do for everyone. For us, the main thing in a B&B is a warm, honest, friendly welcome, and Catherine and Ian are the best hosts. Nothing is too much to ask, and they’re always there for their guests. The accommodation and surroundings are excellent too, from the pubs and places to visit to the views. Tigh na Bruach gets 12 out of 10 on all those points. We’ve stayed in many B&Bs over the last 15 years, but none compares with Tigh na Bruach. If you go, bring some dry biscuits for Rowan, the dog. Even she makes you feel like part of the family. Don’t hesitate to book, you won’t regret it. Antwerp, Belgium
