The garden is lovely, and breakfast was terrific. Paul and his team made us feel right at home during our two-night stay. The only downside was the walk into town, though at least we got our steps in.

The hosts were warm, polite, and personal, and went well beyond what we expected. They even gave us candy and an anniversary card while we were celebrating 20 years together. Breakfast was always just what we wanted. My wife and I spent a week at Trafford Bank Guest House in Inverness, and it was the crown jewel of our trip. I honestly can't say enough good things about the place, its surroundings, or the hosts. The easiest five stars I've ever given. It's close enough to bike or walk to the town centre, but far enough away that we didn't hear city noise. Very near Adli's.

The staff were so warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was fresh, tasty, and a wonderful start to the day. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with free WiFi and parking making things easy. We stayed at Old Trafford Guesthouse on a recent trip to Inverness, Scotland. It's in a quiet spot but still close to shops, restaurants, and public transport. The best part came after checkout, when I realized I'd lost my wedding ring. I was devastated, but they found it and are kindly sending it back to me in the United States. That honesty and care mean a lot. It's one of the best guesthouse stays I've had, and I can't recommend Old Trafford Guesthouse enough. Thank you for everything!

Lorraine gave us helpful suggestions for places to visit and eat, and breakfast was fresh and tasty. You need to agree on breakfast the night before. The rooms are cared for and decorated with lots of thought, and ours felt a little pampering. It had all the essentials and more, and was very functional and comfortable. The only thing to keep in mind is that the Suite room shower is a bit small, especially for someone tall and big like me. There is a comfortable bathtub if that works better. A charming little guest house, and Lorraine is an amazing host.

The location is a little out of town, but it's a pleasant 15-minute walk in, and there's secure on-site parking. For what you get, it's a bargain. The interior design is second to none, with original artwork in every room and decor that's modern and classy while still feeling homely. The breakfasts were delicious, varied, and generous, with something for most tastes. The beds were comfortable and felt expensive, with nice linens. Service was there whenever you needed her, and there were thoughtful touches throughout. Without doubt the best guesthouse we stayed in across Scotland. I'll recommend it to absolutely everyone I know. If you're staying in Inverness, stay here, and stay more than one night if you can.
