It was clean and cosy, with a good breakfast and excellent service. Archie the dog gave us a very friendly welcome, and Moira took great care of us throughout our stay. The location is excellent too, within walking distance of the town centre and train station. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The room was simple and basic, but it felt like home. For £80 per person including breakfast, it was a great place to sleep for a night or two. You can park right outside, and the city centre is only two minutes away, with the Castle Tavern pub just one minute away. The host was lovely.

The owner was kind, and their dog was cheerful and very playful. The rooms were spacious, breakfast was good, and it’s an easy walk to the city centre in under five minutes. A really cosy, nice place.
