I really liked the rooms, and the room itself and bed were very comfortable. I booked four nights and paid for breakfast, which tasted good, though there wasn't much of it. I felt I had to be careful with what I put on my plate in case there wasn't enough cooked breakfast for everyone else. As someone travelling alone, I was upset that nobody mentioned the evening bar or that food was available for dinner. There were no menus or information about it, and I only saw one other diner on my last night. The rooms also had no information about the usual hotel facilities. I wanted to eat in the hotel, but ended up having to go out into Inverness each evening. Staff gave me the impression that explaining the facilities was beneath them. I spent quite a few hundred pounds outside the hotel that they could have had. I'd now recommend staying for the lovely rooms, and little else.

We were so impressed by the rooms at River Ness Hotel, Inverness. They were spotless, beautifully kept and felt brand new. The whole property was welcoming, and the care put into it really showed. What made our stay especially memorable was Chinmai, the Hotel Staff Shift Incharge. Before we even saw our rooms, she welcomed our family so warmly and put us at ease. She was professional, attentive, kind and approachable, and made sure we felt valued and knew what we needed to know. Her care gave us confidence that we'd chosen the right hotel, and it was a big reason we decided to extend our time in Inverness. Chinmai is a real asset to the hotel. We highly recommend staying here and are grateful to her for making our visit so special.

The hotel and our room were spotlessly clean, with some very nice upgrades. But the staff deserve the biggest praise. They were outstanding, understood what hospitality means, and went out of their way to accommodate my family. I'm so grateful for their help and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Inverness.

We had dinner in the restaurant, and the food was 10/10 for a reasonable price. Gary was polite and friendly, and the service from him was impeccable. At the desk, Prashant, who I believe was the manager, couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. Our room was perfect, clean and modern, with all the amenities. I'm very happy with our stay and would recommend the hotel and come back. Thanks!

We come back to River Ness Hotel whenever we're in Inverness, and it's reliably a great stay. The rooms are always spotless, the beds so comfortable, and everything in town is close by. The staff are amazing, friendly and welcoming, and they really do go out of their way to accommodate you. This is the most consistently excellent customer service I've experienced anywhere. Highly recommend.
