The staff were so nice and took time to chat. It seems to be family-run, and I'd much rather see them get the business than the big chains. The roomes were spotless and warm, and breakfast was legendary. A legendary hotel and boozer.

After an absolutely nightmarish day, the owner and staff did everything they could to help. They even lent me a hammer so I could break into my van. They're unpretentious, good people, and I've never come across a friendlier hotel. Can't recommend them highly enough.

A flight delay and a cancelled booking had left me in a mess, but the lovely staff found me a room when I called. Check-in was easy, the room was in good condition, and I slept well. The chef made a brilliant breakfast, too. Hospitality and welcome were as friendly as you could ask for. Thank you, Alan (London).

A clean, lovely hotel and the staff were really friendly. The food was more than excellent. The fish and chips were so huge they didn't even fit on the plate! Highly recommended.

Nothing fancy, but the food, drink, and company were good, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. We stayed for two days while touring on motorbikes and used it as our base. The hotel is two stars, but the service felt like five. There's a bus stop right outside for a 10 to 15 minute trip into Inverness if you fancy a day in the city. I'd recommend it.
