My wife and I stayed at Netherton Farm Lodge in August and September 2024, and can't recommend it enough. Noelle and David were wonderful hosts, and the Franco-Scottish decor made the warm, cosy Lodge feel like home. We would've moved right in if we could! It's a great place to unwind, explore the Scottish Highlands, or visit nearby castles and distilleries. Noelle and David are easy to reach and provide everything you need, and more.

The owners are so welcoming that by the end of the stay they feel like friends. Our kids were especially taken with their dogs, who happily sat for as much petting as the kids wanted, which was a lot. We spent a month in Scotland, and this was easily the most peaceful part of the trip. The house gave our family of four plenty of room to spread out, a welcome change after sharing hotel rooms. It feels comfortable and homely right away. Outside, the big lawn was idyllic for picnics, soccer or just lazing around. You can walk to incredible ruins or into the nearby town, too. If you want an escape and it's available, book it. We hope to return soon.

The downstairs living area is open and peaceful, with a whole wall of windows looking out at the view. Upstairs, the bedrooms are spacious, lovely and comfortable, and reflect the owners' French and Scottish heritage. The Lodge is huge, quiet and thoughtfully put together, with family photos and keepsakes, local arts and crafts, and all sorts of small touches that show how much care went into it. Noelle has created a remarkable stay at Netherton Farm Lodge. My only regret is that we didn't stay here for the whole trip. If I come back to Scotland, this will be my first stop, and maybe my only one.

We really enjoyed our stay at Netherton Farm Lodge. Noelle gave us a lovely warm welcome after a long, hot day, including a chilled glass of elderflower cordial. It's a comfortable home on the outskirts of Kemnay, with easy access to the main towns and rural surroundings to explore on foot. Highly recommended.

The garden was a lovely place to sit in the sunshine and enjoy the flowers, views and wildlife. The lodge is on a beautiful estate, with woodland and riverside walks nearby and easy access to Kemnay. Noelle, David and Helene were lovely hosts. They made time for the odd wee chat, and we especially loved their friendly, fun family dogs, Pumpkin, Poppy and Bramble. Inside, everything was spotless, comfortable and well equipped. Noelle showed us around room by room when we arrived and shared lots of useful information. Her homemade whiskey marmalade and locally made butter were delicious and didn't last long. Fresh flowers, handmade soaps and all the little details made our stay even nicer. The spacious bedrooms had comfortable beds and beautiful decor, while the kitchen and living spaces had everything we needed, plenty of room to dine and cosy seating with lovely countryside views. We had a really enjoyable, relaxing staycation and can't wait to go back. We'd recommend it to anyone.
