The host was so welcoming and always had useful tips for us. An Cuan Bed & Breakfast is right in a great spot in Bowmore, and the room was clean. Breakfast was delicious every morning. Bowmore Hotel & Restaurant is close by if you want dinner, and Bowmore Hotel has one of the best whisky selections we’ve come across. We’d definitely stay again.

Brigitte was lovely and really accommodating. She even turned our laundry around within two hours, clean and folded. Breakfast arrived promptly each day and was delicious. The room was quite small and snug, but comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure.

Breakfast was the standout, delicate dishes served with beautiful cutlery. The whole place was neat and clean, from the fluffy, fresh fabrics to the well-kept bathroom. Thanks for looking after us so well during our stay. See you again!

I stayed for two nights and really liked how clean and tidy the room was, it felt just like my parents' home. The thoughtful details made it comfortable for travelers, and breakfast was brilliant too. Highly recommended!

An Cuan was in a quiet part of Bowmore, and the location worked perfectly for our three nights on Islay. The rooms were a little small, though they had everything we needed. Fresh water was left for us daily, and it was much better than the tap water. I enjoyed breakfast a lot and would stay at An Cuan again on another visit to Islay.
