We couldn’t believe how much we enjoyed watching the seals, seabirds, and boats from the cottage window. It was just as exciting on day four as on day one. We were also pleased by how well placed Ascribs View is: Portree is a short drive away, and Staffin and many of the island’s must-sees are easy to reach by car. The cottage was clean, roomy, comfortable, and had everything we needed, including great views. We felt thoroughly spoiled and found it hard to leave. The welcome at the Uig hotel was warm, and the food in its restaurant was amazing, so it’s worth booking ahead. We’ll definitely be back.
