Foxwood Bed & Breakfast

Of all the hotels and B&Bs on our two-week trip around Scotland, this was easily the most beautiful place we stayed. The rooms were cozy and very clean, and we also had a living room to use. Our hosts gave us such a warm welcome and took time to tell us about the area, with suggestions for attractions and restaurants. Breakfast was freshly made each morning, with choices we could pick ourselves. It was excellent, the best Scottish breakfast of our whole trip. You can really see how much care has gone into this place. We'd happily come back again.

Foxwood on Skye gave us a magical little home for three nights in May 2024, and it couldn't have been better. The tiny house had all the basics we needed, from kitchen utensils to bathroom towels. Our host came out to greet us on the first evening. We'll always remember this special spot, and we can't wait to visit again. Thanks for sharing it.

Our hosts made the trip memorable with a kind welcome, thoughtful details and useful tips. Breakfast had a good selection and tasted great. The countryside setting is full of fresh air and wildlife, with lovely views from the room. Our family of three, two adults and our seventeen-year-old, stayed for three nights. The room was tidy and comfortable, with fresh sheets and towels, warm duvets and a range of pillows for everyone's preferences. Plenty of hot water, and the Wi-Fi was steady and fast. We recommend it and will certainly return.

Foxwood on skye has two bedrooms and an extra self-catering cabin outside. Each bedroom is en suite, and ours was huge. A corridor outside the rooms has a fridge, microwave, plates and cutlery for anyone wanting to eat in. There was tea, coffee and sugar, and fresh milk was available on request. The guest house is remote, away from touristy spots, with a quiet landscape full of animals and nice walks. It's still convenient for getting around: Dunvegan was about a ten-minute drive, and that's where our island adventure began. Katrina and David greeted us with smiles and fresh coffee, sat down to share the basics and helped us plan outings. The place was strikingly clean, and the towels smelled so fresh. The common space had two living rooms, one on each side, giving guests some privacy, with dining tables between them for breakfast. It was beautifully decorated with plants, books and board games, and there was even midge spray, though we didn't see any midges. You can tell a lot of love went into the place. Breakfast was cooked fresh each morning, with plenty of choice, and K & D were happy to help with anything.
