The Armadale Lodge felt cosy as soon as we walked in, and we said straight away we could happily have stayed longer than our one night. We arrived early to check where it was and were going to come back at check-in time, but they told us it was ready, so we could start using it, which we appreciated. Everything was clean, well looked after, and had what we needed. The lodge area was peaceful but still close to the shops, so the location was ideal. To adjust the temperature, turn the dial to what you want and press it in to set it. We'll definitely come back when we're in Skye, and recommend it if you're after a quiet break.

We loved our couple of nights here. The cabins were well equipped and warm, there was free parking, and with only a small number of cabins the place had spectacular views. We had planned to stay in Portree, but were glad we changed to this property. It's a great entry point for Skye, and you can drive to anywhere on the island from here. The local town has a large supermarket, fuel, coffee shops and takeaway places. A really pleasant stay.

A tent disaster at the campsite down the road meant we had to book Eagle Lodge at the last minute that same evening. They were really helpful and understanding, absolute lifesavers. The interior was clean, modern and nicely stocked, with an oven, microwave and washing machine. Would recommend!

We came with two young kids and two elderly parents, and it worked perfectly for us. The place was spotless, comfortable and well stocked. The kids had a lot of fun on the sofa bed.

A peaceful, lovely chalet, comfy, clean and spacious. The only thing I'd suggest improving is the lack of cupboard space for food that doesn't need refrigeration. If you're self-catering, bring a box to store it in.
