We wanted a clean, comfortable room to rest before an early start for Uig Port. The room was tidy and very nice, with a great shower, and we were greeted by a very cute dog who made us feel at home straight away. When we told our host we had to leave early, he kindly offered breakfast at 7:30. We really appreciated that helpful gesture and the hospitality. Highly recommended.

We ate here twice, and the desserts were excellent both times, especially the pineapple crumble. There are some vegan options, and the food was nice. The pub and restaurant downstairs has lovely staff, and our rooms were clean and comfortable, with big bathrooms.

The made-to-order breakfast the next morning was really lovely, and it was a great little inn for our visit to Skye. The room was clean and comfortable. My only issue was the bathroom ventilation: after a shower, condensation covered the ceiling.

At 10:15 PM I booked and paid in full for a room through the hotel’s official website. My family and I arrived shortly afterward to find the hotel locked and unattended. There was no notice saying it closed at 10 PM. They took payment for a same-night booking after closing, left us stranded late at night, and now refuse to refund us. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Be very careful if booking for a late arrival.

We had the fajitas and they were delicious, with huge portions. The small menu has excellent dishes and something for everyone. The restaurant feels family-run and has a warm, very Scottish atmosphere. It’s part of a hotel but open to everyone, and we saw plenty of locals eating there too. Truly recommend!
