Skye Photo Centre

It’s been over a month since our three-night stay, and I’m still thinking about the perfect breakfasts and the best place we stayed on Skye. Iain was such a friendly, helpful host, and his recommendations for places to see around Skye were great, all tried and tested. The home is beautifully and thoughtfully put together. My favorite spot was the little art gallery, with postcard-sized collages by Iain’s neighbour. Jackie and Iain, thank you for the warm hospitality. I’d happily recommend staying here and would love to come back to Skye someday!

Jackie and Iain made us feel very welcome, and the rooms were comfortable with nice bathrooms. The porch was lovely, and the location was absolutely stunning. The living area is beautifully decorated and a perfect place for a wee dram on a rainy day. Best breakfast we had anywhere in Scotland.

The bay was calm and beautiful, and we could see and hear seals there. In the morning, sheep greeted us under our window. We spent four amazing nights here in early October. The room was lovely, the bed really comfortable, and Iain was kind and helpful. He sent us all the details before we arrived, and his breakfasts are the best in the world.

We spent three nights at Skye Photo Center and loved it. The rooms were comfortable, and the tastefully decorated house had lovely views. Breakfast was amazing, all homecooked. It’s a perfect base near Portree for exploring Skye. Highly recommended!
