The hosts were great about answering our questions, and the guest book had loads of nice suggestions for things to do. The house is stunning, with a cozy upstairs kitchen and living area and amazing Skye views. We were ideally placed for Talisker distillery, the oyster shed, Cafe Cuil, and lots of gorgeous walks. Had a lovely week away and can’t wait to visit again.

Alan made us feel so welcome, and his enthusiasm for Skye really rubs off on you. He had lots of useful ideas for places to see and things to do. We spent three nights at the Spindrift and loved the house, with its spectacular island views and cozy, homely feel. The handmade breakfast was delicious and made a lovely start to each day. We’d thoroughly recommend Spindrift for a stay on Skye.

Amazing views all around the house, and a great open-plan kitchen and living space. The house is beautiful, with comfy beds, great showers, and an excellent location. We’ll definitely be back 👍

Alan was incredibly accommodating and couldn’t have been kinder. I stayed overnight with my partner on 08/07/20, and the house looked like something from Grand Designs, in a beautiful, secluded setting. I can’t recommend the venue enough. On our next trip to Skye, I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.

We had a lovely stay, and hope to return. Alan cooked us a wonderful breakfast and gave us superb suggestions for walking routes and places to visit each day. His place is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and has far-reaching views over the Isle. We can’t recommend Spindrift enough!
