There's loads of room and all the amenities we needed. We had two families of four staying together and never felt crowded. The water pressure was awesome too. Nice house!

Fiona and her mum were lovely and really helpful when we asked where to see Highland coo's and what else to visit. Our room was cosy and clean, at the back of the house. It had a tiny en-suite, which didn't bother us, and a good shower. They'd provided travel-size shower gel and shampoo, plus thick fluffy towels. There was also a kettle with tea, coffee and biscuits. Breakfast was included. I had a full Scottish breakfast for the first two mornings and a bacon roll on the last, and I'd recommend both. Tea or coffee and toast came to the table, with orange juice and cereal available in the main dining room. We liked eating in the conservatory, and there was space to relax or read as well. A welcoming stay. We'd definitely come back and highly recommend it. Thanks!

For short visits, this guesthouse is a good budget option in Portree, especially for backpackers. It's within walking distance of the centre, and the rooms are clean and well kept. Breakfast was exceptional, with generous portions. We did have a disappointing problem with the shower clogging during our stay. My scores: room 9/10, cleanliness 10/10, price 8/10.

Breakfast was a perfect start to the day, and the beds were wonderfully comfortable. We were lucky to get the detached garden room, which was very clean and tastefully furnished. A really nice guesthouse, and we enjoyed our stay. Well done, Fiona and Robbie.

We stayed in Garden Room No9, with its own private decking overlooking the Bay. It was spotless, with a huge comfortable bed and tasteful decor. Shampoo and shower gels were provided, along with tea and coffee. Breakfast had lots of choice and was great. It was served in the main house, where guests could also use a couple of lounges, a fridge and an ice machine. Lovely place with private parking, just a short walk from the town centre. We'd recommend it!
