There's so much history here, and it's a totally stunning place to stay. The food was top-notch. Every member of staff went the extra mile, from Spider picking us up and dropping us at the airport, to Kial & Sarah keeping us informed before and throughout our stay. They recommended Rafe, who helped us explore the islands, and Ollie & Alex in the bar, along with the many wonderful waiting staff, were brilliant too.

Dinner was in the conservatory, and the evening just wasn't a great experience. Some staff were attentive, but one waitress spilled water all over the table. We weren't told which food was unavailable until after we'd ordered, even though the specials had been explained.

A historic hotel with great views, friendly and very helpful staff, and exquisite food. The boat trips with rafe were brilliant. Definitely worth another visit, thanksĺ.

The whole week was perfect, from our room and the view to the service and the experience. I can't fault our wonderful stay at all. What a beautiful place to visit, and I'd highly recommend staying and eating at the Star Castle Hotel when you're in the Isles of Scilly.

We arrived before our room was ready, so the staff looked after our luggage while we went exploring. They were also very helpful with directions, recommendations and booking our boat trips. The grounds are lovely, and the trail around the fort/castle made for a good hike. We enjoyed our stay.
