Pickersgill Manor Farm

The place is in a beautiful spot, though it's quite remote and can be a little hard to find. The detailed directions for arriving by car helped. Lisa was so kind and dried our wet hiking gear on the kitchen Aga. Our room was in the main house, spacious and nicely done, with comfortable beds, fresh quality linen, and a good hot shower.

We walked about 20 minutes into Silsden for dinner, then took a taxi back for just £4. The room had everything we needed, including a surprisingly generous range of breakfast and refreshments. The homemade flapjack and granola were a highlight. Loved the huge bed and lovely bedding, and the peaceful location. We only had one night here and wished we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend.

The hosts were especially kind and helpful, and we'd happily come back. Our room had lovely farm views and everything we needed for the night. Breakfast was generous, with lots of cereal and bread, much of it homemade.

From the front of the house, the view across the fields to the hills is stunning. The room was comfortable, and the host and family were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included homemade flapjacks and granola, fresh fruit and berries, and other items.
