The house has clearly been well cared for, and the owners have put a lot into making the finish lovely. It’s in a really good spot too, quiet but still close to everything you’d want around the lakes.

A great spot for a weekend away. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed, and there are two excellent pubs within a five-minute walk. Ings watermill is just a five-minute bus ride away. We’ll be back 😁

The place itself is excellent, and it’s close to Windermere and some other lovely places. The village is small and peaceful too. Highly recommend.

The village is pleasant and there are good transport links into Windermere and further out. The location worked well, though I found the furniture uncomfortable and the bed could have been better.
